Officers of private banks form union

The PSBOF will also take part on the All India strike on September 2, 2015
Mumbai: The Private Sector Bank Officer’ Forum (PSBOF), which was formed on Sunday, will take up vexed issues relating to private bank staff.
The PSBOF — formed by the All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) — will take up issues such as contractualisation of permanent jobs, compulsory conversion of Scale III officers under C2C concept, outsourcing of the banking functions, discrimination in performance linked bonus, non- recruitment of staff against permanent vacancies, tax exemption in the matter pension payment, said Mr Vishwas Utagi of the All India Bank Officers’ Federation.
The PSBOF will also take part on the All India strike on September 2, 2015. The old generation banks have been facing survival problems due to the HR and outsourcing model policies. Many of them like ING Vysya, Bank of Madura, Rajasthan Bank have been already taken over by big banks in the last 10 years.
