This year seems to be looking good for Ranveer Singh. After the success of Dil Dhadakne Do, the actor is now gearing up for another biggie — Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. A lot is being said and speculated about the film but Ranveer feels that once it is out in the theatres, the film will speak for itself.
The actor has just wrapped up shooting for a song and now the film is about 80 per cent complete, he says. It was on the sets of the film that Ranveer was overheard talking to some friends about his director. It seems he said that Bajrao Mastani will be a game-changer for the industry and it will have a huge impact on his career. “Ranveer has immense faith in SLB’s vision as a filmmaker and finds a lot of similarities between him and the legend Guru Dutt. Their portrayal of characters and idea of storytelling are quite similar, he feels,” says a source close to Ranveer.
