Mumbai: It was a very special 42nd birthday for singer-musician Adnan Sami as he feels born-again.
An emotional Adnan said, “It was my first birthday in India after I was granted the freedom to stay in the country indefinitely. I spent it in Delhi. I made it a point to reply to EVERY SINGLE message I got on Twitter and Facebook all day and night. It was a marathon of love and the most beautiful connection I had devoting myself to my fans in India and the world who have put me where I am today.”
Adnan said there was a party which was held in the evening, “We attended a birthday party that was put together for me by friends. My brother Junaid was with me on the occasion of my birthday after ELEVEN years!! For some reason we have not been together on my birthday for all these years. It became special.”
Devoted wife Roya was at Adnan’s side to make his special day even more special. “Roya had quietly told the hotel where we are staying to bake a special cake for me which was lovely!! All in all, it was a memorable birthday with all my friends wishing me and also welcoming me to India for good.”
