Anuja Iyer opens up on her wedding plans

Model-actress-television host Anuja Iyer has many reasons to smile. The Ninaithale Inikkum-fame is all set to get married to a city-based entrepreneur Bharat Ram. Speaking to DC, Anuja says, “It’s an arranged marriage and the wedding is on November 18. We met a few times before we got engaged and now, we’re getting to know each other. Though we have different likes, dislikes and preferences, we are quite compatible with each other. I am looking forward to new beginnings.”

Talking about her wedding plans, Anuja will be off to Delhi soon for her attire purchase. “I would love to be dressed in Ritu Kumar and I’ll have to check if I can order something. I have the colour combination of Olive green and purple in mind. Since I come from a traditional Tam-Brahm family, I have customised even my nine yards sari for the muhurtam. It is mango yellow with a bottle green border,” she says. Ask her if she would continue acting post-marriage, Anuja says she’s open to any offer that excites her, be it TV shows or movies. “For a couple of years, I have been in a corporate job and I’ll definitely anchor shows or act in films if they are interesting,” Anuja signs off.
