Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Wednesday congratulated ‘Google’s new Chief Executive Officer-Designate, Indian born Sundar Pichai on his appointment.
In a congratulatory letter, the CM said, “Congratulations on your appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of Google Inc. It is a matter of pride for Tamil Nadu that a person with roots in the state has attained such a high position in a highly competitive environment through ability and hard work.”
The CM went on to appreciate Pichai for setting a wonderful example for the youth of the state and congratulated him on behalf of the people and government of Tamil Nadu. “I congratulate you on your elevation and wish you all success in your new position.”
