The industry has seen director duos and now Mollywood is seeing three directors uniting to direct a film titled as Malgudi Days. The interesting part is that the three of them — Visakh, Vivek and Vinod are brothers.
The film is based on a real incident and has no relation to the famous novel Malgudi Days by R.K. Narayan. The film has Anoop Menon and Bhama in the lead roles with Priyanka Nair, Saiju Kurup etc in prominent roles along with child artists Janaki and Vishal.
Anoop plays an artist, for the first time, in the film through whose life the film progresses and Bhama plays his wife who is a very bold woman.
The film gives importance to children and is an emotional thriller with moments of suspense woven in.
The directors had earlier said that the film takes its title because it is set in a residential school named Malgudi where the story unfolds. The story is about some days in the said school.
