Watch: Here's what went into making Akshay Kumar, David the fighter
Mumbai: Akshay Kumar has transformed completely into a UFC fighter for his next ‘Brother’. And though a lot of time and effort went intro training and perfecting his role as David Fernandes, Akshay made it look like a piece of cake.
The ‘Brothers’ team constructed an entire gym, similar to the one at Akhsay’s home by the Worli jetty. Akshay worked with three international stunt co-ordinators, to perfect his moves.
Akshay even mentions how director Karan Malhotra did not let him rehearse his shots for the film. As Akshay is known in the industry as a fitness freak, the routine wasn’t too difficult for him to follow.
The film also stars Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Jackie Shroff, and will release on August 14. The film is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie 'Warriors'. Take a look at the behind the scenes video here:
