Exclusive: First a mother, then an actress, the real reason why Kajol left an event abruptly

Mumbai: At a recent event, Kajol shocked everyone by leaving an interview midway and rushing to her car teary eyed. While everyone wondered what it was all about, we have learnt the truth behind it.

Th actress, who appeared at ease while talking to the media after watching Tanisha Mukherjee’s play, 'The Jury', was heard praising her sister. However, she received a phone call after which she cut her interactions shot and left the venue.

While her stormy response made the media wonder what must have gone wrong, DC has learnt the concern behind that important phone call.

The actress got a phone from hubby Ajay Devgan who told her that he is taking yug to the doctor.

Off late, Yug has not been keeping well and he had high temperature. Kajol was aware of this and was little sceptical before leaving him home. But Yug was feeling better and she decided to go and watch her sister's play. However, he again got fever and that's when she received a call from Ajay informing her about Yug.

An actress is always expected to smile at her fans, in front of the cameras but at the end of the day she is also a mother. She was concerned about her son and that's why she decided to leave everything and be by his side.

Thankfully by the time she reached home, Ajay told her that Yug's temperature is under control. That's when Kajol heaved a sigh of relief.
