Gionee launches smartphone with 5000mAh battery, priced below Rs 14,000
Gionee has added another battery heavy smartphone to its Marathon series. In a recent event, Gionee launched the Marathon M4 smartphone, which is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery, probably the largest in a sub-Rs 15000 category.
The dual-SIM Marathon M4 supports 4G network and runs on a customised Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Amigo 3.0 UI. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The Marathon M4 features an 8MP primary camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front facing camera. The 5000mAh battery of the smartphone delivers up to 18 hours of talktime on 3G, claims the company.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.0.
The Gionee Marathon M4 has an MRP of Rs 15,499 and is available in India at both offline and online stores. Also, the smartphone is priced below its MRP at a number of online stores.
