One may call it the rarest of rare coincidences when films of three generations of actors belonging to the same family get released on the same day. Yes, Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan’s Veerapandiya Kattabomman (re-release) , Ilaya Thilagam Prabhu’s SakalakalaVallavan (which has him playing a pivotal role) and Vikram Prabhu’s Idhu Enna Maayam are getting released on the same day on July 31.
Interestingly, the films of Sivaji’s elder son Ramkumar (I), Prabhu (Aambala) and Vikram Prabhu (Vellaikara Durai) were screened at almost the same time in theatres earlier this year, though the movies were released on different days.
