If you are a bride to be, then Day 2 of the Bangalore Fashion Week is where you should have been! The evening at Sheraton started with the student designers from Dream Zone showcasing their fresh collection. It then moved on to a double bill by Kolkata designer Chandri Mukherjee and Mumbai based Pranjal Kadkade.
The creations of both ladies dazzled as models sashayed down the runway in temple-inspired bridal wear. Delhi-based Nidhika Shekhar’s colour coded and avant garde evening line had just the perfect touch of bling and was a crowd favourite. When it came to Riya Kodali’s elaborate marine life inspired collection, the toast was of course, the showstopper Lisa Ray who looked radiant in a cropped blouse and flared skirt. Gaurang Shah’s collection for the modern bride and groom was a pathbreaking assimilation of traditional simplicity and grandeur. While the gorgeous models paraded his collection, Kathak dancers brought an otherwordly charm into the show with their dance.
