Union minister Nirmala Seetharaman to launch business meet in Kovai

IBCN 2015 is the second edition of the conclave
COIMBATORE: Two years after the business conclave in Singapore, Nattukottai Nagarathars or the Chettiars are gearing up to conduct IBCN 2015 (International Business Conclave of Nagarathars) on July 25 and 26 at Le Meridien in Coimbatore. Around 600 people belonging to the Nagarathar community are expected attend the conclave here.
Nirmala Seetharaman, union minister of state for commerce and industry, will inaugurate the business conference in the presence of K. Shanmugam, minister for foreign affairs and law, Government of Singapore.
Though technically IBCN 2015 is the second edition of the conclave, it is being held for the first time in India, said PL K. Palaniappan, Chairman, IBCN 2015. The conference aims to provide a sustainable platform for nurturing current generation of entrepreneurs and professionals, more importantly to provide the necessary tools, training and create environment to reinvigorate the risk taking trait of early Nagarathars in the forthcoming generations of the community.
The main objective of the conference is to provide world class business platform for mentoring, networking, informing and educating entrepreneurs and professionals for the advancement of the entrepreneurship in the Nagarathar community. Young and emerging entrepreneurs will be honoured at the conference.
