Reshmi Menon refutes allegations

Despite playing the lead in Kirumi, it is said that Reshmi was refusing to attend the film’s promo
If it was Reshmi Menon’s alleged romance with the national award winner Bobby Simha, which hit the headlines in the recent past, she’s is in the news for a different reason now.
The actress, was roped in for a film Kirumi which has Kathir of Madha Yaanai Kootam fame in the lead.
Directed by short filmmaker Anu Charan, the story of the psychological thriller has been written by Manikandan of Kakka Muttai fame. The movie is complete, and its audio release has been scheduled for today.
Reportedly, despite playing the lead in Kirumi, Reshmi is refusing to attend the promo, and the reason cited by her is puzzling the producers. There’s an intimate and sensuous song in the film which has been filmed on Kathir and Reshmi, and she seems to have had a change of heart regarding the song and wants them removed from the film.
When contacted, Reshmi clarified, “There’s no truth in the allegations. I just finished promoting Kirumi at a radio station and for the past few days I have been continuously shooting night-shifts for an upcoming horror film. That is why I was wondering how could I make it for the promo, as it has been scheduled in the morning. Still, I will try and attend.”
