A decision is expected on Thursday
Hyderabad: Web counselling is likely to commence from July 17 after the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday upheld the order of a single judge on allowing certain colleges for counselling, with some alterations.
A decision is expected on Thursday. The government will not approach the Supreme Court as it is satisfied that the judgment was not totally in favour of the private engineering colleges.
TSCHE chairman Prof T. Papi Reddy and JNTU vice-chancellor Shailaja Ramaiyer met Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari to discuss the judgement. “We waited for a long time but we couldn’t get a copy of the judgment. Once we get it tomorrow, we will announce the dates,” Prof. Papi Reddy said.
