It was awesome working with Ram Charan: Arun Vijay

Actor Arun Vijay is making his debut in Tollywood
Actor Arun Vijay is making his debut in Tollywood as a powerful antagonist after getting a new lease of life with Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal (YA) where he essayed a villain. Reiterating his words, Arun tells DC, “As I had said, earlier, I would take up villainous characters only if they’re a notch above Victor in YA, and this offer from Srinu Vytla is that.
The lead hero is Ram Charan Teja and I am playing a role with grey shades. When I heard the script, I felt it was the right launch pad for me in T'town and I should not miss the opportunity.” Arun portrays a stylish baddie, so he has been given a makeover.
“I play a multimillionaire and I am given a certain look in the yet-to-be-titled movie. Having completed one schedule in Hyderabad, I can say it was an awesome experience sharing the screen with Ram Charan,” Arun says. While Rakul Preet acts as Ram Charan’s romantic interest, Arun says that he does not have a romantic pair in the film. “It is a different kind of a genre and I don’t think I have a heroine,” he smiles.
About working in a different language, Arun says, “Language is not a barrier. I am quite familiar with Telugu. My dad speaks Telugu, so I was picking up my lines easily. I will be dubbing my own voice for the movie.”
His future films include Vaa, which is releasing soon and a flick with Gautham Menon which is yet to commence shooting. So, what does he do when he’s not shooting? “You can find me working out in the gym,” he laughs. “Though I am getting several offers, I want to complete Gautham's film and then take up the others,” he signs off.
