APCC chief backed Pawan Kalyan's comments on TD MPs lackadaisical attitude

Anantapur: APCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy backed Pawan Kalyan's comments on TD MPs lackadaisical attitude in getting a special status for the state. He lambasted the TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and other MPs for their efforts to safeguard themselves from scandals and not showing interest to mount pressure on Centre to accord special status to state.
“Everyone has the right to express their opinion. The state has already lost Rs 1 lakh crore last year though the bifurcation Act stated that the Centre will grant special status and sanction '1 lakh crore every year,” ob-served Mr Raghuvee-ra Reddy. He further alleged that the TD leaders have no concern about developmental activities.
Speaking to media here on Thursday, the APCC chief pointed out that Mr Naidu is just making an issue of Section 8 and seems least interested in other sections mentioned in the Bill. Mr Reddy condemn-ed the attack on wom-an tahsildar by TD MLA C. Prabhakar and his followers in Krishna district.
“The officers have no freedom to do the-ir work as TD leaders have opted for undemocratic methods of ruling.” He asked officials not to buck under pressures of TD leaders.
