Andhra University gets global recognition

Andhra University has already stood second among the 330 state universities in the country
Visakhapatnam: The Andhra University got the distinction of bagging the 151st international rank in the newly released QS World University Rankings, which has considered over 3,000 universities and gave ranks to 800 institutions.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. G.S.N. Raju said that the university got this rank only because of the highly qualified teachers, research publications, placements, discipline, R&D, faculty achievements, seminars, academic reputation and international collaborations. He also said that the Andhra University has already stood second among the 330 state universities in the country.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor thanked all the staff, students, alumni and others for their contribution to the university’s development. Prof. Raju specially thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, principal secretary Sumita Dawra and the state government for their support for the university to achieve the distinction.
