BENGALURU: Two people escaped with minor injuries and a few vehicles were damaged in a serial accident near Binny Mills in Chickpet traffic police limits on Monday morning.
According to the traffic police, the accident occurred around 10 am near Balekai Mandi. A car driven in a rash and negligent manner hit an autorickshaw and another car.
The police are trying to ascertain the identities of the two injured in the accident. At noon, an autorickshaw driver lodged a complaint with the traffic police, who are now examining the footage from CCTV cameras to ascertain the cause of the accident.
Following an alert, cops rushed to the spot. By then, the injured, who were taken to a nearby hospital, had left. It was only after the autorickshaw driver approached the traffic police, a case was registered, a police officer said.
However, the Chickpet traffic police have registered a case based on the autorickshaw driver’s complaint. Further investigations are on.
