Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati Swamiji will launch holy dip on July 14

Kakinada: Pontiffs of various mutts and spiritual leaders are getting ready to attend Godavari Pushkaralu with much enthusiasm to give blessings to the pilgrims. Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham junior pontiff Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati reached Eluru on Sunday and performed the Maha Tripura Sametha Srichandramouliswara Trikala pooja at the Kanyaka Parameswara Kalyana Mandapam at Eluru.
Later, he came to I. Bhimavaram near Eluru to participate in devotional programmes. According to his aides, the Kanchi peetham seer Jayendra Saraswati Sw-amiji will launch the Godavari Pushkara Snanam (holy dip) along with the junior pontiff at the Gosaphada Kshetram on July 14. Endowments minister Pydikonda Manikyala Rao and heads of departmental officials had invited the Kanchi Kamakoti seers for the Pushkaralu.
The Sringeri Sharada Math seer Vidhushekara Bharati will attend the Pushkaralu. Sri Tridandi Srimmannarayana China Jeer Swamiji will attend the Pushkaralu after four days. The Ahobilam swamiji has been camping at Rajahmundry for the past one week.
Visakha Sri Sharada Peetham seer Swami Swaroopananda Swamiji is likely to attend the Godavari Pushkaralu on July 14. According to sources, he had inititally decided to participate in the event on July 7, along with his Asthana Siddanthi Butte Veerabhadra Daivazna at Rajahmundry. But, the peetham’s former Siddanthi Relangi Tangirala almanac fixed tje Pushkaralu date on July 14.
The Sree Peetham Seer Swami Paripoornanda Saraswati is making hu-ge arrangements for Pushkaralu. Swamiji will launch the ‘Annadana’ programme on the day after having a holy dip. Later, he will attend Pushkaralu events at Dharmapuri in Karimnagar district.
Godavari Pushkaralu special officer Danunjaya Reddy said that all arrangements such as accommodation and other facilities have been made for all the seers and pontiffs besides devotees.
