Vijayawada: A 27-year-old school-teacher allegedly committed suicide by consuming sleeping pills at her residence on Saturday. According to Machavaram police, the woman Gummadi Swapna Latha of Gunadala was working in an English medium school in Gunadala.
On Saturday evening, she was found lying dead in her house. Her family members informed the police who found that she consumed excess sleeping pills to kill herself. Police are yet to identify the reasons behind the extreme step taken by her.
