Kiran is my idol: Aditi Rao Hydari

Aditi Rao Hydari is pretty kicked about her upcoming film Wazir with Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. She also talks about Kiran Rao, who not many know is Aditi’s first cousin.

Talking about Wazir she says, “When I was offered Wazir I opted for it instantly. Who would refuse a film starring Amitabh Bachchan? The film is amazing. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhijat Joshi have written the film and it has been directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Who will say no to such a great combination? Mr Bachchan is so loving, affectionate and encouraging. Also, I admire Farhan as he does so many things at the same time. I was constantly in awe of Farhan.”

Talking about her maternal first-cousin Kiran Rao, she says, “We meet occasionally. I go to their house. But I don’t like to combine my professional and personal life.”

Talking about their childhood she says, “Kiran is my idol. She is a hard working, sincere and an intelligent girl. But Kiran is an emotional girl too. She is full of life and opinions. However, I have made it on my own. I used to hear stories about her shoot and meet her but I would never ask for work.”

Ask Aditi about working with her brother-in-law Aamir Khan and she says, “I keep my personal and professional equation separate. I respect Aamir. If I get to work with him on my own, I will let you know.”
