Dadi Veerabhadra Rao ready to return to Telugu Desam

Mr Rao reached Puttaparti in the district for the darshan of Sri Sathya Saibaba maha samadhi on Friday
Anantapur: Former YSRC leader and former minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao sent signals to the Telugu Desam high command expressing interest to rejoin TD. Realising his wrong step by leaving TD and joining YSRC, the senior leader said he was ready to shift loyalties to TD if the party chief Chandrababu Naidu invites. Mr Rao reached Puttaparti in the district for the darshan of Sri Sathya Saibaba maha samadhi on Friday.
Speaking to the media, Mr Veerabhadra Rao, who was an ardent devotee of Sri Sathya Saibaba, recalled he was continuing in the politics only on the directions of Baba. “I had decided to quit politics soon after death of TD founder N.T. Rama Rao. But, Baba forced me to continue to serve people,” Mr Rao said.
“I am ready to join TD and serve the party, if Mr Naidu invites me,” said the former minister and further added he had served TD for over three decades and the party is like a mother to him. The Uttarandhra leader quit the party for not considering his candidature for MLC seat and joined the YSRC before the general elections. However, Mr Veerabhadra Rao resigned from the YSRC blaming party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the debacle in the general elections.
