Prince William spotted flying cattle class on budget airlines to Scotland

He previously served in the Royal Air Force, most recently as a search and rescue pilot

London: The Ryanair flight Stansted to Glasgow was just like and other routine flight on Thursday afternoon until the passengers got the whiff of blue blood on the aircraft.

For taking his seat alongside them on the budget airline was Prince William.

The 33-year-old prince was travelling to Scotland from his Norfolk home as part of his training to fly with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The prince, casually dressed, was wearing glasses and in a navy blue jumper, pale blue shirt and trousers, was believed to have been accompanied by only one bodyguard during the flight last month.

He previously served in the Royal Air Force, most recently as a search and rescue pilot.

In late May, it was reported how he was in the closing stages of his training to be a pilot with the ambulance team, enabling him to take up a new role transporting patients to hospital.
