Karnataka Lokayukta corruption case: Lokayukta SP Sonia Narang to file case against Ashwin Rao?

BENGALURU: Lokayukta Justice Y. Bhaskar Rao’s son Ashwin Rao, who already has an FIR filed against him by the Lokayukta police, would face further trouble as Lokayukta SP Sonia Narang is likely to file a complaint against him. He had claimed that he helped her to get a posting in the Lokayukta.

As Ashwin Rao has made statements to a section of the media that he is the one who had helped Ms Narang get a posting in the Lokayukta, she is contemplating filing a case against him.

Ms Narang told DC, “I am thinking of filing a case against him, but I have not taken any decision.” She said it is the government that had given her the posting in the Lokayukta.

“I was transferred to the Lokayukta four months after I met him. My senior officers had asked my consent before they posted me here. Moreover, I never approached him myself seeking any posting. In fact, I was shocked how he could have his hand in police postings,” she said. Sources said Ms Narang was thinking whether she should file a defamation case against Ashwin Rao.
