My daughter could have survived had she received timely care: family

Hema Malini's driver Ramesh Chand was arrested Friday morning but is now out on bail
New Delhi: Thursday night’s crash that injured BJP MP and actor Hema Malini left four-year-old Sonam dead but nobody seems to be talking about it. Or how her 6-year-old brother Soumil, who is critical in intensive care, is coping.
The actor’s driver Ramesh Chand was arrested Friday morning but is now out on bail. The FIR against him lists the following charges -- overspeeding and reckless driving, causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others, causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others, causes death of any person by doing any rash or negligent act has been registered. This seems to suggest that he was at fault.
The Maruti Alto with two children and three adults was 60 kilometres from Jaipur when Hema Malini’s Mercedes Benz crashed into it. Two of them are being treated in the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur while the other two in a Dausa medical facility. Hema Malini was taken to the Fortis in Jaipur.
The father of the child, Hanuman Khandelwal, who suffered injuries to his legs and collarbone, with multiple fractures, has registered a case against Hema Malini's driver Mahesh Thakur. Hanuman's 6-year-old son Soumil is currently in ICU with fractures in both arms and legs.
According to reports, relatives of the family have alleged that timely medical intervention could have saved the child and that two different treatments were being provided to victims of the same accident. Reactions online have also pointed out this disparity.

Shame on our India media! A four years old girl died in accident from the car of Hema Malini. But the media is showing only Hema malini is injured. Although she gets a minor injury.
