At the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘All is Well’, Abhishek had no qualms in addressing the matter. Without mincing his words, he said, “I have always had these attitudes that if you can’t stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen. If you are going to available on a public platform, then you have to be prepared about brickbats as well as bouquets. And I have always taken it in my stride. If you talk negative about my movies, I will see how I can improve but dragging my family is strictly off limits. I do understand both my parents and my wife are public figures but my daughter is strictly off limits. I do not appreciate anybody making defamatory comments towards her. So I think I said what I had to say and the gentleman was very kind enough to remove the tweet, realize that he went too far and apologize. I very much appreciate it.”

He went on to add, “It’s important to allow freedom of speech, it’s a constitutional right but I have the right to raise objection as it is my platform and if you say something to me, I will give it back. That was it. It’s the end of the matter. If you are going to be on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, this is going to happen. It’s healthy and fun.”

His film, ‘All Is Well’ which also stars Rishi Kapoor, Supriya Pathik and Asin is a fun-filled road trip family drama which promises to have hilarious sharp twist and turns laced with an important message.
