No jail reprieve for Revanth Reddy

ACB court extends judicial custody of accused MLA, others till July 13

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau special court on Monday extended the judicial custody of the accused in the cash-for-vote case, including Telugu Desam MLA Revanth Reddy, till July 13.

The three accused in the case — Mr Reddy, Bishop Harry Sebastian and Uday Simha — were produced in the court after they were brought from Cherlapally Jail.

The ACB filed a memo seeking their extension for remand to judicial custody.

The verdict on Mr Reddy’s bail plea is slated for orders in High Court on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the ACB summoned Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah once again in the case.

The MLA, however, informed the ACB that he was unwell and could not be present.
