A TV grab of the wooden plank received by Dayakar Rao from an online shopping site instead of a laptop.
Hyderabad: Dayakar Rao, a revenue secretary working at the Sangareddy mandal parishad office in was surprised to see wooden planks in a package delivered to him instead of the HP laptop that was ordered. His brother, Kamalakar, a techie working at Hyderabad, had ordered an HP laptop for him, through PayTm on June 15.
On June 24, Dayakar received a parcel via Ecom Express. When he opened the pack he was shocked to see wooden planks. He informed Kamalkar and he contacted PayTm. “They told us to send the parcel back and would give a refund within 48 hours,” said Kamalakar.
Dayakar sent the parcel to PayTM changing the address from Sangareddy to Hyderabad and is awaiting refund.
