Over 200 girl’s participate in FIFA ‘Live Your Goals’ programme

MUMBAI: Over 200 girls participated in the All India Football Federation and Fifa’s ‘Live Your Goals’ programme aimed at extending the outreach of women’s football in a India here in the city of Mumbai.
A grassroots session for 26 participants from the Indian national women’s team in which kids participated and interacted with Indian team members including veteran Bembem Devi. “Fifa has designed the ‘Live Your Goals’ campaign to boost women’s Football.
Already 22 Countries have adopted this programme and it is time that we strengthen our women’s football,” said AIFF technical director Scott O’ Donell. The AIFF has planned seven football festivals across India to popularize the programme.
