ATI staffer, husband found dead in Mysuru

According to Anitha’s brother, the couple who had got married last year, had marital disputes

Mysuru: Nine months after Administrative Training Institute (ATI) mess manager Venkatesh was found dead at the premises, a first division assistant of ATI was found dead along with her husband at her brother’s house in Hunsur town police station limits Monday morning.

Anitha, a resident of ATI quarters, Mysuru, and her husband N.R. Ravindra, health inspector at the office of the district health officer, Mysuru, are the deceased. The couple were found hanging from the same fan. Their bodies were shifted to the Government Hospital, Hunsur, Mysuru SP Abhinav Khare said.

According to Anitha’s brother, the couple who had got married last year, had marital disputes. “We are yet to trace a death note. We will register the case after a complaint,” Mr Khare said. Meanwhile, Mysuru city police commissioner Mr B. Dayanand said there was adequate security at ATI.
