Srinagar: A Pakistani undertrial prisoner was killed and five Jammu and Kashmir policemen were critically hurt in a grenade blast inside a moving police ambulance near Hygam village outside Sopore on Saturday afternoon.
The Pakistani prisoner, Waheed Noor Khan, was being escorted by the police back to the Srinagar Central Prison from Sopore where he appeared before the chief judicial magistrate’s court in connection with a militancy-related case of 2010.
