Ram Mohan Rao of Multi Dimensions Entertainment will be heading the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC).
The elections was supposed to be held on June 20 and the last date for nominations was Saturday.
Though at one point it seemed that there might be a contest between Ram Mohan Rao and Dil Raju, they later decided to make it unanimous.
Dil Raju was elected as the honorary president. After bifurcation, TFCC has become an important part and it will be coordinating between the Telangana government and the industry.
“Telangana Chamber is going to be active on par with the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce,” says Ram Mohan.
Meanwhile, the Film Development Corporation (FDC) is still to be divided. Once the Telangana Film Development Corporation is formed, Ram Mohan will head that too. “CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao wanted him to head it,” says a source.
