Hyderabad: TS government has so far failed to keep its promise to engineering aspirants. TS Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari had, on more than one occasion, said that the government would start a Web portal on the lines of Know Your College (run by the Union HRD ministry) providing details of all engineering colleges in the state. This he had said would be done before counselling begins.
Officials say that a comprehensive database of colleges and their infrastructure is still under preparation. But it is not likely to be available prior to this Eamcet counselling, unless the government aggressively goes about it.
The minister had said the government would start a Web portal where students would be able to check on the facilities and infrastructure provided by each engineering college.
