The orphans now hope that they would get financial support

WARANGAL: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's assurance that the state government would act as guardian for the orphans in the state has brought lots of hope in the lives of thousands of orphans in the state. The orphans now hope that they would get financial support and special packages to continue their higher studies and settle down in life like any other citizen.
The orphans of Bala Vikasa, an NGO in Warangal, expressed their gratitude towards the CM in an innovative way by planting 150 saplings on the main road between Waddepally tank bund and NIT. About 50 children participated in the event organised by Bala Vikasa. Many passersby on the road appreciated the efforts of the Bala Vikasa children for setting a new trend.
Singareddy Shoury Reddy, the executive director of Bala Vikasa, said that Bala Vikasa Mahila Mandals have adopted as many as 1,500 orphans and nurtured them in the past 10 years. “The situation of most of the orphans is pathetic as they lack recognition, support, care, love, finances and opportunities,” he said.
