Kumar Nagendra to direct Nara Rohit

Kumar Nagendra, of Joru and Gundello Godari fame, is going to direct Nara Rohit in his next film. The film was officially launched recently and the shooting will start in a couple of weeks.

“It’s an interesting subject based on popular director Murugadoss’ Tamil film Maan Karate. We got the rights and did a few changes to suit the Telugu audience,” says director Nagendra.

He adds that the subject is a mix of sport, fantasy, love and entertainment. Maan Karate was a big success in Tamil. “Apart from the role of Nara Rohit, there are five other characters and the story revolves around them,” says Nagendra. He also adds that the female lead has not been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, Nara Rohit is working out to reduce weight for this film.
