The show will have an all-male judging panel for the first time

The industry has been abuzz with rumours about Madhuri Dixit-Nene quitting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. If sources are to be believed, it’s Shahid Kapoor, who will be replacing the actress in the eighth season of the popular dance reality show.
Apparently, Shahid was approached by the channel and the deal was signed recently. So apart from preparing for his wedding next month with Delhi girl Mira Rajput, Shahid is gearing up for his small screen debut.
Apart from Madhuri, even Remo D’Souza will be replaced by choreographer Ganesh Hegde in the upcoming season. Only Karan Johar will be retaining his judge’s seat this year. The show will have an all-male judging panel for the first time.
