No action was taken against Justice C.S. Karnan of the Madras high court
New Delhi: Attorney-General Mukul Rohatgi on Wednesday questioned the Supreme Court collegium as to why no action was taken against Justice C.S. Karnan of the Madras high court despite his passing an order proposing to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the Madras High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul.
The AG posed this question to a five-judge Constitution Bench hearing a batch of petitions questioning the validity of the NJAC.
