Hyderabad: Director Puri Jagannadh had announced a while back that he would be making a film with Nithiin before directing Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th film. It was, however, announced recently that the project had been cancelled because of some unavoidable circumstances and another actor will be roped in. My film with Puri garu is not happening due to unavoidable circumstances… Hope to work with him in the future, Nithiin tweeted about the project. Puri too tweeted: The film I planned with Nithiin am doing now with another hero... Shooting starts on the same date... Will share details soon.
According to a source, the director has roped in Varun Tej, son of Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu, for the role. Puri has also signed up Hindi actress Disha Patani, opposite Varun for this film. She is going to make her Telugu debut with this film. She had earlier acted in the film No Sex Please, We Are Indians.
