I put on a lot of weight after an accident, which everyone made out to be a suicide attempt. So, I took a break to lose all those extra pounds. And I’m not back (in Tollywood) because of trouble in my marriage. Ujwal and I met each other online. I was going through a bad phase at the time and we decided to get married immediately.
Truth is we are yet to get to know each other. He wanted me to quit my film career, but I was not ready to do so. That’s when we decided to concentrate on our respective careers.
Also, Tarun (rumoured to be a boyfriend at the time) and I have not been in touch ever since my accident. When I threw up once due to food poisoning, people claimed I was pregnant.
When I went out with my brother, a magazine referred to him as my new boyfriend. These reports used to affect me a lot before, but now I have stopped caring.”
