Imran Abbas, who made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D last year, is a self-proclaimed literature enthusiast and hails from a background of arts and linguistics, with his father and sister being poets.
Imran too seems to have a poetic side, which found expression in his upcoming movie Jaanisaar, directed by Muzaffar Ali. A source informs, “When Imran narrated one of his poems to Muzaffar, the filmmaker instantly liked it and decided to incorporate it in the movie since it’s a period drama and the lines go with the mood of the film.”
Abbas, we hear, is keen on pursuing his passion for poetry and writing and considers Jaanisaar a huge platform to showcase it.
Jaanisaar will also see stylist Pernia Qureshi making her acting debut.
