Prime Minister Narendra Modi strikes the right note with #IncredibleIndia on Twitter

The pictures were re-tweeted by the Prime Minister himself on his official Twitter handle

Mumbai: India has always been famous for the enigma and folklore that surrounds its traditions and culture. Our country and its wonders has attracted many a curious minds for years at end. When Bill Clinton visited India in May 2000 as US president, he said that the world was divided between those who have seen the Taj and those who have not.

Prime Minister Modi in his attempt to give Indian tourism a further boost encouraged his countrymen to upload pictures from their travels across the country on the social networking site Twitter with the hash tag ‘#IncredibleIndia’. These pictures were in turn re-Tweeted by the Prime Minister himself on his official Twitter handle.

The response to Prime Minister Modi's appeal was tremendous. A few hours into his radio show a volley of pictures from across the country flooded his Twitter account. Proud Indians showed off every nook and corner of their country, some their travel tales to tell. The Prime Minister later in the day graciously responded to some of these Tweets and even re-Tweeted a lot of them.

The Prime Minister made this appeal on the latest edition of his radio show ‘Mann ki baat’ on Sunday morning. ‘Mann ki baat’ was first aired in October 2014 and since then Prime Minister Modi has been reaching out to his people through the show with advice and suggestions for a better life and better country.
