He visited the man who attempted suicide in Nalgonda on Wednesday
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president and MLA G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday visited the man who attempted suicide in Nalgonda on Wednesday. The victim is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, DRDO. He set himself ablaze and rushed to the dais where Kishan Reddy was addressing a public gathering in Nalgonda.
Mr Reddy met the victim Bajireddy Shekar, a native of Kesarajupally in Nalgonda district. He asked doctors to provide the best treatment and said he would take care of the expenses.
He also promised the man that they would put efforts to stop the encroachment of the land that belonged to the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kesarajupally. According to the doctors at Apollo, the victim suffered more than 40 per cent injuries and his condition is critical. Earlier, on Wednesday night, when Mr Reddy was addressing a public meeting in Nalgonda, he set himself ablaze in protest against illegal sale of temple land
in his village. The BJP activists shifted him to the Hospital in Nalgonda and later he was shifted to Hyderabad for a better treatment. Meanwhile, the BJP activists and the villagers of Kesarajupally called for a Bandh in Nalgonda on Thursday.
