Mumbai: As the world gears up for the launch of the much-awaited ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ teaser, Salman Khan has packed his bags and headed to Dubai. The actor will be present in Meydan, Dubai on May 29 for the first ever Arab indo Bollywood Awards.
The event will also see other Bollywood A-listers like Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akthar, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Neha Dhupia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhudeva and many others.
However Salman’s attendance made headlines everywhere after he was convicted earlier this month in the 2002 hit-and-run case. He was found guilty on eight charges against him and sentenced to five years in prison. But the Bombay High Court granted him bail within two days, and cancelled his sentence.
He was told that he would have to seek the High court’s permission every time he wished to leave the country due to his controversies.
