Clean sweep by majority schools in Kerala

Students, teachers in almost all schools were an elated lot with results not throwing noticeable upsets

KOCHI: Most CBSE schools in central Kerala scored cent per cent victory in the Class XII examination results which were declared on Monday. Many schools in which more than 100 students appeared for the examination also achieved the feat. Toppers from these schools had over 95 per cent marks.

The schools which scored 100 per cent included the Bhavan’s cluster of schools, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannamaly, Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, St Paul’s International School, Kalamassery, The Choice School, Tripunithura, Gregorian Public School, Maradu, Al Ameen Public School, Chandiroor, Christava Mahilalaya Public School, Thottumugham, Aluva, St Mary’s Residential Central School, Poonthoppu, Alappuzha, Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, Kochi, Al Ameen Public School, Edappally, Lisieux English School Nadel, Vaikom and Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Perumpilly, Vypeen.

The cent percent success also visited St Philomena Public School and Junior College Elanji in Ernakulam district. SBOA Public School, South Chittoor, Greets Public School, Kaloor, Viswajyothi CMI Public School Angamaly, Crescent Public School, Chalakkudy, Vidyadhiraja Vidyabhavan Senior Secondary School, Angamaly also have secured 100 percent success.

The students and teachers in almost all schools were an elated lot with the results not throwing noticeable upsets. “We are yet to hear from all of the students as they will trickle in to the school only in the coming days and then only we will get the real picture. Generally students are happy about the results as they have got the expected marks in almost all the subjects. Last year the scene was a bit different as there were some complaints. The students were a bit relieved as maths results were also on the expected lines. Generally there is tremendous trust in CBSE valuation system,” said teacher of a CBSE school.
