Flipkart, Snapdeal servers face overload, heavy discounts, big sales to blame.

However, the big sales and discounts are attracting a huge traffic on the online shopping websites. Users are seeing website errors such as page not found or too much traffic on the servers. At the time of writing this piece, we faced multiple issues on Flipkart which reads out that they are getting too much traffic and one would have to wait for a few minutes before proceeding. Snapdeal was totally down with the website not even loading. Amazon was running well, but it could the that the discounts and offers were not as impressive to all.

Online payment could cause issues.

Owing to server issues, shoppers could witness payment losses or transaction errors. While paying for your goods, you usually tend to pay using an online net banking or credit/debit payment mode. The overload on the shopping website’s servers could jeopardize your payments. Transaction errors are normal, but the reversal on your payment could take a few days, and possibly make you run from pillar to post. We suggest you opt-in for COD mode of payment. When the delivery guy lands at your door, you can swipe your credit/debit card for payment. However, a word of advice—make sure you read all fine prints before you shop.
