A woman in California, is suffering from a severe form of anorexia nervosa and posted on social media pleading for help.
The woman's health issue has spiralled out of control and weights just 40 pounds (19 kgs) as compared to her original weight of 145 kgs.
Things took a turn for the worse almost 10 years ago when she lost her job as a senior account executive, and she fell into deep depression. At the time of losing her job, she weighed 125 pounds, and she was dealing with what she called “the perfect storm.”
The 37-year-old posted a video to YouTube, detailing her ordeal and asking for financial donations to help her get the treatment she desperately needs. Her husband Rod Edmondson quit his job as a personal trainer to be her 24-hour caregiver, she continued, and she’s currently unable to walk on her own.
