Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government is discussing with astrologers for a good muhurtham for laying the foundation to construct the new capital city Amaravati.
The state government has zeroed in on June 6. Now the government is working towards the muhurtham and the place in the capital region to lay the foundation.
According to well known astrologer Mulugu Ramalingeswara Vara Prasad Siddanthi on June 6, the good muhurtham is in Karkataka lagna between 8 am to 9 am.
Meanwhile, AP government is in two minds on whether to lay the foundation stone at any place in the capital region or in a particular building.
If the government wants to lay the foundation in a particular spot it has to wait for a master plan to be submitted by Singapore in the last week of this month. Otherwise, the government can decide any place around Tullur in the capital region for laying the foundation stone.
Satish Chandra, principal secretary to AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that Singapore will submit the master plan for the capital city in the last week of May and for the seed capital in the first week of June. He said that the time and place to lay the foundation stone of Amaravati will be decided by the government soon.
He said if the government wants to lay the foundation stone in any particular building it has to wait till Singapore submits the master plan for the capital.
