It was a name made popular by R.K. Narayan and now comes a Mollywood film with the same title — Maalgudi Days. The film will star Anoop Menon and Bhama in the main roles and will be set against the backdrop of Malgudi National Public School. The other interesting factor associated with the film is that it will be scripted and directed by three brothers, Visakh, Vivek and Vinod. It is for the first time that three brothers have joined hands to direct a film in Mollywood after some very famous duos. Vinod mentions that the film will be an emotional thriller and will also have two child artistes playing very prominent roles. The casting for these roles is going on and the film is expected to roll by the end of June. The locations for the film would be Wagamon, Peerumedu and Thiruvananthapuram. The film will be produced under the V. Company banner.
