She further recalls how she ended up making her Sandalwood debut opposite namma Hat-Trick Hero, “I was in Malaysia to attend the SIIMA Awards, and I met Shivarajkumar Sir. This is when Geetha Shivarjkumar and Sir, who were looking for an actress to cast in their upcoming periodical venture felt that I was perfect to play the lead and that is how I became a part of the wonderful team,” she adds.
Sanusha, who is still popularly known as Baby Sanusha in Mollywood talks about her debut as a child artiste. “I would say, it was destiny. I was not even aware that I was being considered. I later came to know that it was during a family trip to Kasargod that a director accidentally saw me and convinced my parents to cast me. Though my first movie was War and Peace, my first release was Dada Sahib,” says the two-time Kerala state award winner for her acting abilities as a child artiste.
Sanusha’s younger brother Sanoop Santhosh, is also an actor, known for his performance in Philips and the Monkey Pen. “I take one film at a time, which helps me concentrate on studies too. I have Nirnayakam in Malayalam which is ready for release, in which I portray a character which revolves around a special cause. As far as Santheyelli Nintha Kabira is concerned, I play Shivarajkumar Sir’s love interest. In fact, it was Sir, who insisted the film team send me for a break to prepare for my examinations. I will be joining the team once I am done with my exams,” says Sanusha. Before signing off, the actress reveals that she loves to sing too apart from juggling studies and acting in films and soaps.
