Farhan Akhtar performs live at Delhi to raise funds for Nepal earthquake

Mumbai: At a time when Nepal is grappling with the consequences of a devastating earthquake, artists like Farhan Akhtar, Vishal Dadlani, Agni, Parikrama organised a musical extravaganza at Delhi on May 10 to raise funds for Nepal.

Northeastern artiste, Bipul Chettri, and artistes from Nepal like Adrian Pradhan, of 1974 AD, and Abhaya and the Steam Injuns also performed at the event. The bands were earlier supposed to perform at Kalimpong on May 2, but due to the unfortunate disaster, it was called off.

While several stars have expressed their sadness, few have taken the initative to raise funds through various means. Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Anupam Kher, Nargis Fakhri and Abhishek Bachchan extended support to an online fund-raising space- Ketto.
